Yep, people who are completely dependent on the government. We're all at least a little dependent, but some of us could be totally self-reliant if we had to. |

A pejorative term I wish would DIE. It's morphed into something else. It's become a way to paint people who aren't exactly like you with a broad brush. My staunchly libertarian ass can't even wear a Michigan jersey on the weekend, without some douchebag going "I'll bet he can't wait to drive his SUV home to his McMansion and watch American Idol just like the rest of the sheep". "Soccer Mom" can die a quick death, too. Meanwhile, I drive my beater (and paid for) Jeep home to my modest house in the middle of nowhere, and shoot stuff (I don't have cable, and I rarely watch TV). Oh great, now the hippies think I'm a redneck. I don't belive 9/11 was an inside job either, so they call me a sheep. They're afraid of guns, and don't know the true meaning of the 2A, so I call them sheep. My fellow gun owners learn that I shop at a WalMart frequently, so they call me a China addicted sheep. They all have cable television, so I call them hyptotized sheep. Enough, all ready. |
