| I'm trying to think of a certain acronym, but for the life of me can't. It is 10 letters, and each letter represents a number. I believe it is a girls name, and it was used at one time(maybe still is) in pricing inventory on tags. Anybody have a clue what i'm talking about. |

RCR29 the one we used was C H A R L E S T O N 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0 Those still not understanding the question Link |
oftentimes the seller's cost is on the label of a piece of merchandise for sale, encoded using the above substitution cipher or a similar scheme. say you have a tag on an item,
the fake "lot code" above is "SLS", or "959" once you look up the corresponding letters in the MARY LOUISE scheme illustrated above. so the item cost $9.59. knowing the true cost, as the merchant you could say to a browsing customer, "look, i'll sell this at cost, $14.99, but that is the lowest i can go -- that's what i paid for it" (small white lie, don't get upset!). ar-jedi |
And yes what you remember is correct, started whith an E maybe.
