I need some advice. Tarawa has thrown up twice tonight and had diarrhea. The second bout of throw up was a small quantity and was kind of milky. It makes me think that there is nothing else in his stomach.

What can I do at 0030 to help my dog?! Is there something I can give him?

Thanks

You can give dogs pepto bismol.

Try and keep him hydrated.  Give him ice chips or ice cube to eat.  Do not feed him anything until atleast tomorrow.  Keep an eye on him.  You can try and give him a childs dose of pepto bismol liquid (NOT CHEWABLES).  If it doesn't get better by tomorrow take him to the vet.  Good Luck.

HE isn't lethargic he was just running around outside. He's a doberman.

I know my girls, if one of them were acting funny and puking and shitting funny I would run them off to the emergency vet.

That said, sometimes dogs puke, and it's no big deal... I can read my dogs, can you?

The last time my dog puked and shit everywhere, he had pancreatitis.  Not to sound gross, but the vomit was very mucus-like and slimy.  He went to the emergency vet, and she said there's a good possibility he could have died had I not done so.  Also, he vomited like 10 times and shat about that much.  Give him some Imodium and keep an eye on your pup.  If you have any doubts, take him to the vet.

If your dog is not showing any signs of distress, just keep him under observation for awhile. You say "running around outside..." so it sounds like he's not in distress.

Dogs DO occasionally vomit for no apparent reason. Maybe he just ate something that didn't agree with him. My neighbor's dogs do this... we live in the desert, and there's lots of carrion around. They chomp it down, and (being basically city dogs) they barf it up later.

Keep him under observation for a day or 2.

As long as he is drinking water and eating a little, he should be ok.  Anytime I take mine in thats the first question I get asked.  I would still have him checked out tomorrow.
