[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Narcotics?

How many people take LEGAL Narcotics daily. Since my Army accident I live on some great stuff thanks to the VA. They just upped my dose and I'm flyin high right now. Vicodin= the Kooolllll!!!!!!! I have different ones also but they make me feel weird.

Very True. All opiates will constipate you.. but Damn is it worth it

The VA gave me some stuff but I haven't needed it yet. I'm quite regular and feeling REAL good right now too!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Opiates wreck havoc on my stomach for some reason. They work nice for around 30 minutes then I'm in agony.

I've been through vicodin, percoset, dilaudid, opana (oxymorphone) oxycontin, morphine sulphate extended release (at one point 200 mg every 8 hours plus 30 mg immediate release every 4 hours) and I am currently taking 5mg oxycodone for breakthrough on top of the fentanyl patch (100mcg/hr) change every 48 hours.

You do NOT want to be tolerant to pain meds.

Thats why they upped my meds. They weren't doing anything to me after 4 years. Do they make you feel like you LOVE everybody, cuz I'm felling like that right now.

I have a stash for the occasional times that I injure my back.

Other than that, I don't like taking them. I'm not into the feeling of losing control or altering my reality.

I don't drink for the same reasons.

I'm on some legally right now. being tolerant sucsk and withdrawals are freaking HELL man. They make me love everyone until someone does something to piss me off....I get serious road rage.
