my internets keep going down every time it rains. It's also intermittent, it works for a little while then quits working.

Anyone got any idea what the problem might be? I'm on cable internet BTW.

You have crappy cable.  The lines are getting wet and interfering with the signal.

I went through all the hurricanes here in 2004 (I think), never lost power or cable / internet.

We have all underground utilities here though.

Setup a service call.  Poor line connections, normally gets fixed quickly

Water in your exterior wires. I had the same problem with my dish. The dumb shits installed interior cable the first time around.

Thanks, that's what I figure the problem was. I'll have to call and get them to come fix it.

Check you outside connections. Make sure there is a loop (keeps water from touching connectors). The i-net signals are much higher in frequency than cable signals. The connectors can go south from the slightest bit of corrosion.
