Hello All, Just picked up a Sig 229R. This is my first railed gun and I am looking to make it a home defense project. I have not had the chance to play with any of the new weapons lights and I am wanting some advice on what to buy. I would like to know what you would buy and why? Thanks to all that respond. |
The Streamlight TLR-1 is a good piece of kit. The Surefire X series lights are excellent options. I'd also suggest obtaining a tape type switch for the light to assist in using it under stress if your fingers aren't long. I'd also add Crimson Trace lasergrips to the weapon. |
