A Soldier in my battalion and his wife had a baby daughter yesterday. Unfortunately the child is experiencing major medical problems and has been given a 30% chance of survival. If you can stop and say a prayer for this child and her parents for strength and recovery I would be thankful. Her name is Elizabeth Jane. Thank you |

Not much change, but she is still hanging in there. Papa got to hold her for the first time on Saturday. I was able to collect $650 from the Soldiers in my company over the weekend so he can stay with her and mama instead of working. I did find out that mama spent 23 hours in labor and was complaining about very weird pressures and begged for a C-section, which was refused. Her lungs were filled 90% with merchromium and she was unable to breath alone for several hours and was on a ventilator. The doctors at the 2nd hospital expressed concern with the actions of the doctors where she was born. Thanks for everyones prayers and thoughts. |
I didn't see this the day that it was posted; I just saw it a few minutes ago. I stopped and prayed for Elizabeth, and her family, not having any idea what you had just posted here on page 2. I am very, very sorry to hear that little Elizabeth was taken from her mom and dad, but I have every reason to believe she is with Jesus. There is no place better she could be, and I wish I could be there myself. I pray that God will use this to remind Elizabeth Jane's mom and dad of the things we have to look forward to in Heaven, and I pray that they will live not in sorrow, but with great anticipation, hoping to see her again, at the feet of Jesus. ![]() IS there anything we could do to help her parents? |

Redleg, I will make sure that the picture is passed on, it puts what has happened in perspective. arowneragain, we pretty much have everything handled here locally, but a prayer for strength for the parents is still needed. Thanks again guys. This is what makes ARFCOM the greatest web community going, real people who really care. |

THE DAYS I WILL NEVER HAVE . . . THE DAYS SHE WILL HAVE . . . I did not lose a little baby child, I lost a lifetime of days I will never see . . . I will never feel your tiny hand reach out and hold my finger, making my hands feel strong and protective. You will grasp the finger of Jesus, His nail pierced hands saved me when I was helpless. I will never see you half run, half skip as you giggle and play in the yard. You laugh and play with screams of joy before the Throne of God. I will never hear you say Daddy, Daddy, watch me, watch me, as you perform some simple task. I would grin at your excitement. You will say Daddy, Daddy, watch me, watch me, and God the Father will grin and say I never stopped watching you. |
