Sounds like your talking about the DR-200 possibly. They are around and still sell new for around $600-$700.When they hit the market they sold dor $419-$450 new.(For the money I rather have a Bushy)

Those are Cetme´s as Libertarian noted, they are the Cetme L model rifles, the LC model differs in having a tele stock and shorter barrel.

The CETME actually looks like a polymer reciever derivative of the FNC. The handguards are nearly identical.

I've always hated the cheesy blocky lower on the FNC. This looks like a much better rifle.
