I've seen people saying the same thing since about a week after the 9/11 attack.  Frankly, I don't feel anything and don't know whether anything else will happen.

Yeah, but I think it has something to do with all the extra Border Patrol on the roads, at the border, and at the checkpoints. More DPS than usual in this area also.

Is everyone is Arizona running this scared? Perhaps you and the original waterdog can go in halves on a bunker and hide out until things blow over.

Well today is 119,  the reverse of 911.

What is really screwy is a lady in my office was on a flight from Dulles to Hawaii on 911.  She was grounded in Texas for awhile.  Today on 11-9 she is in the air again to try for Hawaii.  [shock]

I am visiting that F-ed up state to the west of us this weekend.  Not my idea, but the Little Woman feels the need to go over to occupied territory every now and then.

MAY THE FORCE BE WITH ME!

Various and sundry ppl/things.  You could do what I do and yell, at the top of my lungs, at the liberal media fecal-spew, my Weimy who insists on ripping my f*cking house to shit (if you have a dog), my POS computer for locking, the weather when it's shitty etc.

You know what you feel?? You know what......what you feel is that the very government that has been screwing your Constitutional rights for the past ten years is now in need of patriotic support...the support we would ordinarily give to this great nation...but we have so long felt as if we were enemies of our own government simply because we love freedom and the Constitution that it causes a deep uneasiness in us.  I want to be a patriotic supporter of this country but I feel constantly like I have to watch my 6.....and not because of fear of foreign enemies.

Yeah, but I've felt it for quite some time now.  I feel bent over a rail, a foreign hand on each shoulder, and a voice behind me that says, "We're from the Government, you are going to feel some pressure and mild discomfort, but we are here to help".

For some reason, I don't think KY jelly will be available for this procedure.

It's the knowledge that all the stepped up security isn't going to have any affect at all on the next attack, but that strip searches in the airport may happen to *you*.  They're already talking about "safe and trusted passenger" ID cards and making travel a privilege instead of a right.

It is the knowledge that the next attack isn't coming next year or months from now, it could come anytime.  If it's a serious one, as serious as on 9/11, civil rights will immediately be a thing of the past.

It's the knowledge that you may have to rise up and fight or become a refugee (or just plain dead) in your own country.

It's the knowledge that the media lies and that the war against terror is part of some larger agenda and that the ground war is not, I repeat, not going very well at all.

Is that what you're talking about?

Maybe you can work on feeling that Osama will be brought to the U.S. for justice.

I don't want him brought to the U.S. at all.  I prefer to see justice served wherever he stands when they find him.

He wants to die a martyr.

I'd rather not give him the pleasure of dying for his cause.  We should leave him in a 8x10 foot cell in ADX Florence for the rest of his garbage life.
