Hey guys. My names chris I am from new zealand and I need your help! I need to know what was the state that made owning a handgun/firearms law for all head of house. I need this information because I expressed a political opinion and a correct opinion (in saying that areas with concealed carry/ use of firearms for self defence have lower crime rates) and because of this I face loosing my firearms licence as self defence is not a legitimate use here in my country even though i have them for compition shooting I may still loose it because i expressed my opinion to a member of parliment and have now been investigated 3 times! also any relevent info on firearm crime stats would be great! thanks |

Kennesaw Georgia. Gun Law On May 1, 1982 the city passed an ordinance [Sec 34-1a] requiring every head of household to maintain a firearm together with ammunition. It was passed partly in response to a 1981 handgun ban in Morton Grove, Illinois. Kennesaw's law was amended in 1983 to exempt those who conscientiously object to owning a firearm, convicted felons, those who cannot afford a firearm, and those with a mental or physical disability that would prevent them from owning a firearm. It mentions no penalty for its violation. According to the Kennesaw Historical Society, no one has ever been charged under the ordinance. |
Yup sure does sucks more that you get treated like a criminal if you defend yourself even if your defending the general public by stopping a a lunitic with a machette from stealing the stores guns by shooting him with a pistol |
