I know if you shoot a zombie in the head it will die. But what if you slice the head off with a sword or something, would they still walk toward you w/out their head?

Even if they did still walk around the brain-ingestion unit is in their head.

They can't eat your brains with their arms, legs or ass so you're good.

the worst they can do now is tear your your arm and beat you with it...just keep shootin and they will eventually fall over...

But.

WWZ is clear on this, decapitated heads are still dangerous since the brain area is still intact. Thus heads of decaitated zombies are like land mines.

The brain area has to be massively compromised to stop them. As stated above, a severed zombie head is still extremely dangerous.

in DotD '04 at the end, with the home camera footage that played during the credits, they found a ~~live~~ animated zombie head in a cooler of an abandoned boat.
