I recently bought a video Ipod.  I know how to put my music
CDs on it but is there a way to my movie DVD's on it?

you'll have to decrypt the DVD and re-encode it to MPEG4. I recommend AnyDVD for decryption and Handbrake for encoding.

I prefer DVD Decryptor for decryption but agree with handbrake. Hope your computer has DVD/Hard drives drives with SATA, at least 2 gig of RAM and a decent processor. The Video encoding will really drag down a system using IDE.

+1 on Handbrake

Ipods suck big time.  I wish I had never bought my 80G one.  They got sued recently over their BS and IMO they deserve it.

They make it hard to do anything and want to be the next Microsoft.

You have to crack the DVD I think, as they are copyright protected. Google it and use something free.

See - you own it and have to crack it to put it on an Ipod.  Crazy.

I never understood watching movies on 3" screens anyway.

Good Luck!
