Do you agree or disagree with the belief that having the power to something automatically makes it right?

WRONG!!!

With great power comes great responsibility.

It might... right?

Might makes might, and may have nothing to do with right.

"Right" is very subjective anyway, just ask a democrat what's right.

I might believe that, but I'm not sure if I'm right.

Are you still pissed about the "Shoot the Looter" thread?

Does having the power to kick the dresser drawer make it right?

First time on page one of a post EVER!

I disagree - might doesn't make right.  Well, it might...oh crap I'm confused.

If you're mighty enough it doesn't matter what's right

No, its just like the saying "Just believe, it will happen!" or "Have faith!".

Just because you believe something doesnt mean its right or it will come true.

"Do you agree or disagree with the belief that having the power to something automatically makes it right?"

Sociopaths (And everyone else who hasn't taken the time to develope a super-ego) of the world vote YES!

Is a majority of a people wanting to steal from those who've made more of themselves right?

Sometimes.

But then again I might not be right.

history is written by the victors.

and thus are right in their cause.

if germany won the history books might have favored their line of thinking.

at least in their part of the world.

No, but I am concerned with this point.

I believe that "Might makes Right" is absolutely false. Having the power to do something does not make it right. There are endless examples of why this is the case. If might did make right then any atrocity is justified as long as you have the might to commit it.

It is tied up with the concept that history is written by to victors.

Might doesn't automatically make right, but it does make the winning side look right when viewed through the prism of time.

You have the 'power' to pin down and screw the ass off next doors pet goose…

…but that don't make it right.

Flawed question. Might doesn't make Right, but Might makes it happen, whether it's Right or Wrong. So if you are Right, you damn well better have Might to counteract those who are Wrong.

You have to establish the standard and principle first, then you can choose your actions.

People who let actions govern principle are the enemies of civilized society. People who act on principle are the foundation of civilized society.

Necessarily make it wrong? Nope

It really does depend on the situation doesn't it?

If I stomp an 8 year olds ass because I can, doesn't make it right.

If I stomp an adults ass for stomping an 8 year olds ass because I can, it does make it right.

Way too many variables involved with your question for me to give an answer. It all depends on the situation.
