Just got done with my 2006 and 2007 taxes.

I have 15K coming back.

I never expected this, even with 15 months in Iraq.

Carry on.

Mac out.

The Bank of the IRS thanks you for your interest-free loan.

Have fun figuring out what to do with your pseudo-windfall!

I wish, but the two kids braces and the wife's new car are going to wipe out the return. If we get the additional check from GW in May, the wife says that's all mine.

The time in Iraq was Tax Free, so I got all the money back, so over paid versus under paid is irrelevant.

So why did they take the money from you to start with? Sorry, I agree with C. Kid in that it was an interest free loan, but I'm happy for you.

Now what are you going to do with the loot?
