I can't remember the exact story, but as I recall they sold receivers to folks in California. Then for some reason demanded them back again, or threatened the sic the ATF on them or some such bullshit.

Every experince I hace had with Fulton has been positive except one:
Don't ever order "their" (DPMS) chromed carriers.

I bought a PowerWedge FSB from them.  FSB seems to work just fine, and the process was smooth.  Not as fast as Rainier Arms or White Oak Armament, but everything was 100% as advertised.

I've purchased several things from them over the years. Always a positive experience, a bit pricey perhaps, but good quality stuff.

They have done two M14 Triggers for me and built two M1's for me on stripped CMP receivers. Great work.

EdSr has an M14 (well it's semi but I hate "M1a") that FA built, it's one of the nicest looking rifles I have seen. I have always had good dealings with Fulton Armory.

Thats the first I have heard of this thats for sure. I have a Fulton lower that I bought just after the ban was lifted. It went together without a single problem and it looks nice. I highly recommend them. m

I have had numerous dealings with Fulton over the yrs, their parts are pricey but you can rest easy knowing they are the real deal. Their service , has always been outstanding. Sent him a Garand that wouldnt run and it came home running like a champ.

Decent prices on M1 Carbine stuff.
I can usually find stuff cheaper from private sellers, but when you need a part right then, they have a fair price.
I got good service from them.

Their AR15 stuff is way overpriced though.

They're fine other than their high prices.

They won't ship receivers to CA anymore.  After the first big batch made it through, the DOJ I guess called them up and said they could be charged with a crime (which would not stand up in a court because they're perfectly legal here).  The DOJ has made the same empty threat to most manufacturers.  Thus the lowers we get  here generally come through a string of FFL's; seldom direct from the mfr.

Bought their M-14 and various items from them over the years.  Had some trigger work done on a Springfield Armory M1A a few years back.  They've never let me down.

I have ordered from them before, good expericences, but I can't stand the way Clint and Walt have spammed the M1/M14 boards.  Walt is very knowledgeable on M1's, but he just can't shut up, or stop plugging Fulton Armory.
