|
yah the fight was suppose to be on at 10pm ET. on showtime www.sho.com/site/sports/KimboVSTank.do?source=SEP_banners_2/16media |
I don't think either one can go a whole round. Whoever wins this thing will not last more than 2 1/2 minutes..... |
| Yup, hasn't started, but play-by-play will be Here at Sherdog. |
not super huge fat but still pretty fat i haven't seen an old video of him for a while so i really can't compare |
I didnt see it but I will take your guys word for it. Kimbo is in great shape and I saw tank two years ago and he looked like a busted tube of biscuts. |
Well, I guess it could've been a work. But it was a hell of an acting job if it was. Letting Kimbo get range and drop 4-5 monster rights and a few lefts on your chin and jaw before going down. Oh, and he went down hard. Lights out hard. |
I believe you. I will see it on youtube later. Brock vs Kimbo would be f-ing awesome. being a Minnesota boy you know who I'm going for. |
The word on the street is it will be Ken Shamrock vs. Kimbo next. |
Ken Shamrock used to be bad ass, but lately he is losing badly to everyone and anyone. I guess the Kimbo camp is taking the boxing approach, which means fighting some big name has beens to gain popularity then fight someone real in a big PPV event and cash in. Kimbo had popularity going into this because of the internet, I'm pretty sure this is their intent. |
Wonderful. I see it's the Kimbo vs washed up legends tour. This is reminding me of heavy weight boxing 15 years ago...

Play-by-play for those of us that couldn't watch live: Round 1 Kimbo charged forward with a flurry of punches. A right and left hand hurt Tank as he went for a takedown. With Tank eating shots while on his knees, Kimbo was warned for hitting the back of the head. After a restart, the fight was stopped to clear the ring of an object that was thrown from the stands. Kimbo picked up the crumpled wrapper and threw it back into the crowd. An explosive scene followed, with Kimbo landing two right hands that forced Tank to take a knee. After standing, Kimbo finished Tank with a right hook and a glancing left. Tank fell face-first to the canvas at 43 seconds of the first round. |
face first to the canvas will do it every time. |
They're easing him into the sport. Better to start him off fighting nobody's and has-beens instead of your second fight being against a former HW champ, and world class sub artist like Mir. Who did that? Oh yeah, Brock. |
