Need to ask the hive mind for a bit of advice (which I realize isn't very smart) What do I buy next? (After I Get a Team membership of course) A little background. College kid work my but off over the summers to bank some cash, have a good job during the school year. Have a year and half left till I'm done with my 6yr program. I've got a C&R and some major bases covered, but not all. I've got a Garand, a Yugo SKS, K31, a Finn 91/30 among a few pistols and a fudd shotgun and 22. Taking the whole context of political climate, ammo prices, availability, and a host of other factors what to do. Build an AR (Don't own one yet) Get a Finn M39 Get a M1 Carbine from the CMP Something else or Pie? |

Yet another vote for an AK. If you've got ammo for your SKS, you've already got the ammo aspect covered. In the eyes of libs, there is NOTHING more evil than an AK. It's the first firearm they'll move to ban, and thus will be one of the most desirable firearms after they ban it. In the mean time, nothing sends a bigger F-U message to gun-haters than buying an AK. Personally, I recommend a Yugo M70 (either the underfolder or wood-stock versions) - unbeatable build quality for the money. |
