My communication's proff. is allowing us to give a speech on a topic of our choice and for mine I am giving one on gun control, how it fails, disarms the citizens, ect ect you all know the drill.
I am presenting the task to you GD, give me all the websites you can think of that give statistics for crime before and after gun control was instated, particularly in the UK and Australia and any other information that will provide me with a winning argument.

Spend $24 bucks and do a search.

Have any idea how many college students have posted this EXACT thread over the years?

Seriously it's probably worth it.

I kinda hate to say this, but gun control is a poor choice for a topic.

1.  College professor is gonna hate the topic because they're all flaming liberals.

2.  Students...same thing for the most part.

3.  Gun control is like abortion...everyone's mind is already made up.  You have little hope of swaying anyone's opinion.

4.  Chose something less controversial and walk away with the better grade.  When in college, you just gotta play the game.  After school, speak your mind as you please.

Not true.  I actually had a professor last semester that liked guns.  He wasn't a big gun guy, but he enjoyed bullshitting after class about guns and the 2A.  One of the coolest professors I've ever had.
