Its that time of year again. Work will pay for a pair of steel-toe boots.
Last year, I got a pair of Danners, which are still going strong.
This year, I am looking for a pull-on Wellington design.
It must be steel toe, and somewhat waterproof with treatment.
Im looking at Red Wings, Wolverines, and whatever you guys suggest.

Here are the ones I am considering. Any other suggestions?

Red Wings

I would like a pair of tennis shoe style. I've heard of them, but forgot what brand they were.

Sketchers FTW!!!!

I have a pair of them with a titanium toe and they are the shit! They really don't add any weight to the shoe at all.

For a pull on ranch/wellington type workboot, I wear these Double H boots.

They are extremely comfortable, with absolutely NO pinch.  Walking, running, squatting, kneeling, un-even ground whatever.

And the footbeds are an honest to goodness 1/2" thick   Super-super soft on the inside

Edited to fix link

Georgia Boots Mud Dawgs

Maybe not exactly what you specified, but they are some damn good boots.  Durable, comfortable, waterproof, steel toe, chemical resistant.  And <$100 real-world price.

I wear mine all day, often more than  14 hours.  I'd buy them again.

These are the best ones I have found. They look just like a regular tennis shoe, but are steel toe. They are just a littler heavier than a regular tennis shoe. I have been through a few pairs of these, and they hold up pretty good.

Tell me these dont look like a regular shoe.
They are great in the summer when im wearing shorts at work, and dont want to have to lug around some big ass boot.

Does the company policy state "Safety Toe" or "Steel Toe"?

I ask because my boss kept telling me its was steel toe only, but I got to reading the employee handbook, and it stated "safety toe".  I contacted HR, and they fired off some emails to corporate.  Later that day, I was given a copy of the email, and it turns out that any ANSI and OSHA approved safety toe boot is good.  I bought a pair of Converse Desert Pursuits w/ kevlar safety toe from LAPG.  Love em!
