Anyone else see a pattern here?

In July Guilliani was going to barnstorm his way the to White House.
In September FDT was gonna rule.
In November McCain was toast.
Before New Hampshile Hillary was DONE.

My point is all these pundants are nothing more than guessing with what little POOR information they are gleaning from all the same sources.

Romney's biggest problem is all the Mormon-hating Evangelical "Christians" who can't get over him not being a snake-handling speaker-in-tongues who sees Jesus in every piece of burnt toast.

McCain isn't much better, but I trust him more than Romney.

Romney has lots of money(427 million)and he will spend what ever it takes to get a 400,000 dollar a year job.

Somehow it bothers me why anyone with that much money  would want to just throw it away to become potus!

I mean I know he will get a retirement pay, free postage, and some body guards for life but WTF he has all that now(except the millions thrown away on the process)!

I have seen more erosion of 1st Amendment rights due to McCain than ALL 2nd amendment rights in the last 7 years.  But the REAL concern is with Supreme Court appointments.

The state of our Republican choices is such that you can swap their names and (except for the Mormon thing) it still works.

Doubt it.

'94 ban did nothing for crime

The foreign bans haven't done anything to stop crime in those countries

The dems will shy away from it, they lost control of congress for 12 years because of the first ban. They talk a big gun control game, but that's just to please their voters. Look how many promises they made in '06 they haven't followed through on any of them

That's crap. Many evangelical Christians won't support Huckabee either - much less McCain. Romney won't get support because he's a LIBERAL. Once again - he's a LIBERAL. Evangelical Christians usually don't support left wing candidates - even if they are stamped "GOP".

Also, for all of you worrying about a ban, worry about the Heller case, not the president.

While I'm sure states will continue to pass gun restrictions regardless of the results of that case, I don't see the feds doing anything if 'we' win Heller. I know up here Doyle's trying to ban basically everything but a single-shot bb gun. I couldn't even imagine something like that getting close to passing national legislation.

As I have said on MANY occasions on this board, we (Republicans) only have ourselves to blame for the predicamant we are in now...this nonsense of repeatedly electing a "winner" (meaning who raised the most money or who the media likes) or "the lesser of two evils" (between a D or R).

NO!  Romney is not done!  Neither is Huckabee or Ron Paul.  If McCain is your guy, great, vote for him and feel good about it.  Regardless, you (we all) need to vote for the remaining candidate who best represents your (our) values.  The perfect candidate...he ain't there, so don't get hung up on looking for him.

Don't listen to the media on their pick of the winning horse.

When Ron Paul goes independent you can always vote for him. Or write in Ron Paul instead of pushing the button for McInsane.
