I noticed this the other day when I had something shipped, but this is just rediculous.  I was checking the tracking code on my scope and it's going from Earth City, MO to Lexington, KY before it arrives at my home which is just east of Bowling Green, which has a UPS facility.  Is it just me or this retardedly out of the way.  And if the excuse is it's going to one of UPS air depots there's one on Louisville, which is just north of us.  What's up with this?!?!  There's been a lot of items I could have gotten a lot quicker if it wasn't for this.  Here's a pic if you don't know what I'm talking about.  The red lines indicate it's path and the blue lines indicate how it should go imo.  Blue dot is Lexington and red dot is Bowling Green.

Same thing happens in airlines.

You can go from Wichita to Denver to Dallas.

It has everything to do with where the hubs are.

You just happened to have the US Iraq fatalities map lying around to use for a UPS problem??

I spent a good while staring it it trying to figure out WTF UPS had to do with US fatalities in Iraq.

How is it being shipped?

Via Air?

If so the biggest air hub is in Louisville.

No that was just the most clear one on the first page of a google search.  It could have said said number of Homosexual related STD's for all I knew.  I didn't even notice until I already had it saved on my photobucket.
