I do like watching the auction. It kills me to see the muscle cars getting such high $$$'s. I remember many of those cars from when I was in HS. Granted the weren't as cherry but damn I could of made a killing if I kept 'em. And this was in the mid 80's My buddy had a pretty clean hemi cuda. Damn. |

The first day is over, and they sold some interesting cars already. There was an old Caddy limo (1940 I think) that was reaaaaalll nice, and a few others I liked. They sold several of the vehicles that were made on Monster Garage, and I was surprised/saddened by the lack of knowledge the announcer guys had about them. They were guessing and making stuff up, but it was very clear they were clueless. I know not everyone watched the show, but if I were going to be in that position I'd do some research just to keep from looking that dumb on national television. |
Good point, maybe if they drove them full speed through the crowd of auction attendees that would make for a more action packed show. |
Can you photoshop that?

They sold Dyno Don Nicholsons Pro Stock '78 Mustang today for 82K. Thanks, GoGop, but I caught the replay afterwards |
