Funny. I saw this massive dude (6'4" 275) do that with a FA 454. He was saying, just before he touched off the first round, that he had picked it up on the way to the range.

She recovered quick and had the gun back on target. She didn't drop it or toss it or let it fly out of her hands. She did fine. Looks like she is comfortable around guns but maybe a bit too trusting of someone.

Why anyone would give such a weapon to such a small, skinny, obviously inexperienced shooter is beyond me.

Why not just beat the girl with the gun and say "guns are bad, mmmmkay?"

Maybe next week they can convince her to stick her finger into an electrical outlet.

Yeah...she did a great job of keeping that gun pointed downrange and not popping off a second shot...especially considering she got slammed in the face with it.

they should have warned her about how much recoil that sucker was gonna have so she could have been ready.

Yea she is a little too skinny for my liking but nothing that a few bowls or red beans and rice would not cure. I would had start of with a 22lr then a 38sp then a 357 mag. If she handle it well then I would let her try a 9mm.
