Hello

I am Joe Clueless.

I want to get a digital camera but I know absolutly nothing about them.

Any experts out there? The problem is I have a very limited budget, say, about 2 bills.

What should I look for in a cheaper camera? I don't want to buy a total POS just because I don't know any better, but I also realize you usually get want you pay for. So what am I to do?

You can start by going to your local bookstore and troll around the magazine section. They are tons of new magizines on the topic. Here's some more info to get you started

good old dvdtalk. you ever get into the few gun discussions that come up in the "other" forum from time to time?
I try to make the anti's see the light, not sure if I'm ever affective

If you really want a decent image, you will have to pay. You might try [url]http://www.dpreview.com/reviews[/url] though most of the cameras reviewed tend to be over $500.
