I hate to say it, but since I been home I been watching a lot of (whatever) SWAT on A&E. I see these guys cowboy in and tear a lot of shit up, but hardly ever get any bad guys or evidence with the no knock warrants they do.

Any SWAT Team members here that can tell me its a terrible show?

I doubt they'd take the cameras on the dangerous ones, the ones more likely to produce results.

More disturbing is that having a show like that on TV will serve to make no-knocks seem like an ordinary, commonplace, everyday occurrance. That way, when they come to a neighborhood near you, it won't be such a surprise.

The more accustomed people get to seeing ninjas busting down doors, the worse off we are as a society. There is no fucking way the framers would have condoned that shit.

I think most poeple that watch that show probably don't even notice or care if they actually get the bad guy. They just want to see some action.

Narc related search warrants most often produce a handful of nothing. Warrant arrests, paraphernalia or a gun that can't be claimed by anyone. The big scores don't come very often. That's the nature of the business.

Perhaps it's time to consider a change in business plans then?

Try telling the ninjas they have to stop dressing up and climbing walls.

Not gonna happen.

Yep, the sheeple are being trained to think that the police should routinely conduct buisness that way.

It makes for good entertainment until it's your door that gets kicked in and the fromt of your house is torn off.
