Just caught wind of a new feature Google's come out with that provides some pretty cool driver's perspective mapping of your route.

Saw it on the news this AM.  I wonder how much it cost them to collect all that data.

Another cool one is maps.live.com/. The "bird's eye view" is really cool if your area is included.

Yeah, and what a cool job it'd be to drive around in the camera truck.  A great way to see the country!

I wonder it they're hiring...

When this gets done, it's going to be amazing for me.  I'll be able to tell my installers what the customer's house looks like, if they'll need a big ladder, if they have line-of-site, etc.  (I run a satellite installation company.)  Amazing.

They need to get the bird view of the southern border.  I went there to see if I could spot any illegals.

That's pretty cool.  Must be tagging the video with GPS coords during the recording.

One of the Oregon members is on it.

He was apparently unloading groceries when the car went by.

Or you could just gain control of one of 24's magic, super-zoom/any angle defense satellites to have on call.
