| How would you react if you were shopping with your family, when someone comes into the store and starts shooting at any and everyone? What would the police do/say if you did do something about that? You are CCW and for the GUN FREE ZONE think of this at your mall/store you should know. |
I'm in the PRK and the leftists in charge will not let me have a CCW. So I would run around screaming like a little girl or a dim-wit-crap. |

Was I carrying? Was it a Gun free Zone and I was still Carrying? Most armchair comandos would say draw down but depends on where I was and where the shooter was. ETA: Pee myself I guess. All I could do, or heard everyone in one room so not to tire out the shooter by having him run all over the place. |
I would get my family out of that place as soon as possible, only engaging the shooter if I was FORCED to in order to protect my family. Likely the police wouldn't say anything to me. I'd hopefully be miles away from the scene by the time they were mopping things up. |
| Get my wife and daughter out of there. After that I would probably go back in. This would get me in a whole lot of trouble I guess due to N.Y. self defense law and the whole must retreat thing. But I am of the mind that if you are willing to do something right and good then you must not worry about the consequences. I know it sounds armchair commado ish but take as you like. |

Probably not much they could do, as far as arresting me for carrying. For certain-sure, if I happened to be carrying and was able to stop a massacre, I'd do my level best to live on the front page and 5 o'clock news screaming that our silly CCW laws cost lives. But there is a possibility that I could be arrested, and that particular code section is a "wobbler"... could be charged as a misdemeanor or a felony. |
