Hello, looking to make a purchase off of the EE, and the seller wants to send it collect on delivery (COD). Never used this payment method before, just wondering if there are any con's in using it?

When online shopping was first created COD is how you paid for things. Basically when you get the package, before the UPS guy will hand you the package you must give him the exact amount requested in the form of a MO.

It is one of the safer ways to ship, which why it is used back in the day. Now with Credit Cards you can easily cancel payments and get your money back faster.

The only downfall that i have noticed is the charge for COD. UPS charges the shipper $9.00 for the value added service, which in-turn may be added as a cost to you by the shipper.

I don't think you can specify "Cash" any more. Now they can take a check. Let me know how that works out....
It's win, win for the buyer. You just delivered your item(s) to this guy on your dime. He isn't out one red cent. He hands the UPS driver a bogus peice of paper, and he's in the wind with YOUR stuff, for free.

There's no way in hell I'd do that. But hey....it's your stuff...
