It's odd...I would never expect this to have been a hit in my lifetime, even though we used to sit around listening to it. The country that existed when this could've been a top 40 hit is just.......beyond me today. it show how far we haven't come. Green Berets I guess it goes back to a bunch of little kids constructing "forts" in the woods....Because, the, Russians weren't going to come over the shore and take eastern NC without coming though us. |
