| I have a pile of khakis and button down shirts that need to go to the cleaners. Can I wash this stuff at home and take it to the cleaner to be pressed only? Before anyone says it, I don't have time to do it all myself. Thanks in advance. |

I don't know about the health codes in Arkansas, but out here in California, the answer is no. The health code requires the cleaner to actually clean all the clothing beofre processing (pressing) them. If you wash them first, they eill just wash them again, probably decreasing the life of the garment. Honestly, I think that if you think about it, you wouldn't want it any other way. I do not iron my own clothes. My wife does not iron our clothes, either. We used to. We could, but don't. |
