Alright, maybe the title is a little anti-climactic, but this thread is about serious business.  Need some suggestions on manly and humorous books as I will be reading a lot in the next two months.

I’ll start it off with the book I just finished, I Hope they Serve Beer in Hell.  It’s basically about a privileged kid that has more game than, well, me and probably you.  He uses this extra-ordinary superpower for evil and tells his stories.  If there is one book that is good for about a thousand quotes, it is this one.  Not for the squeamish as he is a complete douche, but had me laughing my ass off throughout the whole book.  He is also a gun enthusiast FWIW.   Here is an excerpt (a quote from one of his buddies, slingblade):

If you ever speak ill of the Mcgriddle again I will personally force-feed you one while I fuck you in the butt using the wrapper as a condom and then donkey punch you when the infused syrup nugget explodes in your mouth.

I’m through with this one and need some more suggestions.  What’s out there?  Like I said, I’m leaning more toward humorous reads.

He's got a new one coming out in January.  Look for it on Amazon, I can't remember what it's called.  I've had it pre-ordered for months.

I'll pick it up.  I need books for right now though.  There was a thread a while back about a similiar topic, but I cannot find it.

So apparently this guy makes a living publishing his carousing stories?  His life.  I just finished the one where he brought Miss Vermon to his friend's wedding.  She got dead drunk and revealed herself to be an utter airhead, extremely sheltered, and showed signs of some sort of psychological problems.  The two ended being oil and water once they mutually got to know each other.

He posted the story on his site and was sued by the girl's mother.  The NYT wrote about it:

Ms. Johnson's site is www.katyjohnson .com. Mr. Max's is
www.tuckermax.com. Both Ms. Johnson and Mr. Max sell T-shirts
and the books they have written on their sites. Ms. Johnson's book
is "True Beauty: A Sunny Face Means a Happy Heart." Mr. Max's is
"The Definitive Book of Pick-Up Lines."

"Remember The Alamo" by William W. Johnstone

It's a modern day story of the Alamo battle and the Beast from NY is athe US President. She's not named, but it's very thinly disguised who the character is supposed to be.

It's also a tale of the future if that bitch gets elected.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S. Thompson.

I think you'd enjoy that book.

Check.  I checked it out on Amazon and the first "If you ordered this book, you would like this one." was Beer in Hell.  Went out and bought it.  Thanks.

Pretty much.  Some of it gets dry unless there is more of a story behind just him hooking up with random girls.  The best one’s I’ve read were the stories of him and Slingblade, “Everyone has that friend,” and “The Midland, Texas Story,” were he hangs out with some “country” folks for a few days.

Thanks, I think you’re right.

Yeah, sometimes there is an air of bullshit, but he is a pretty good storyteller.

On Killing and On Combat by Lt. Col. Dave Grossman. They On Killing was good, hadn't started On Combat yet. They discuss the mental aspects when combat and killing are implemented. Definitely recommend to anyone who ccw's.

That book was so manly and bad-ass that during 11th grade, when my parents discovered that I purchased and read the book (I left it sitting next to the toilet), they tore it up and threw it in the trash.

This is considering that my parents didn't care about me watching rated R movies and reading extremely violent non-fiction war books back then.

I read that just the other day.  The story about him fucking the fat chick and throwing her clothes out the window was hilarious.
