You can say whatever you want, I could care less and I'd probably agree with you!  We didnt ask to be put in the 218th, the State Adjujant Gen. and HQ put us there. I will say the 218th and becoming part of it has given us gear and equipment never thought possible for NGists! Where else can you find M2A2ODS and M2A3 Bradleys in the NG? Nowhere And now we're set to become the first Combined Arms Brigade in the NG...not that it really means anything to me but still.   eta: This is of course without you knowing what complete asshattery they engaged in while being in charge in Iraq. They almost completely undid everything the 3rd ID had worked for and everything was going nice and smooth and great....until 4th ID came in, turned everything into their little 'we're in charge, we're going to change the way things work' fest.
