Officers said a 22-year-old woman on crutches was walking near the intersection of Liberty and Boone streets southeast just before 1 a.m. Saturday when she was attacked and assaulted by 37-year-old Paul Landingham. According to authorities, a car with five people was driving by, saw what was happening and came to the woman's rescue. Three men pulled Landingham off the woman and held him until police arrived at the scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital. Landingham was taken into custody on first-degree rape charges. Take a look at the picture of the suspect. The good samaritans did more than "hold" him.

I would find it very hard to call the police as well. Takes a strong mother fucker not to kill that guy. I have no tolerance for that shit at all. I know most say it but I honestly don't know what I would do to a guy I caught only because I know my chances with 12 of my peers would be good. ETA: I can't watch it on TV because I throw shit in anger, my wife will change the channel if it comes to it. No, I was never raped or knew anyone that was. |

+1 That's exactly how I feel. Nothing enfuriates me more, and I mean nothing. Everytime I hear about a rape I think about my wife or my sister being raped. They never have, and its a good thing too, because I'd be in prison for sure. The fact that we do not EXECUTE repeat offending child molestors and rapists speaks volumes to me about our societies lack of moral character. GROW SOME FUCKING BALLS PEOPLE! We should execute these fucks! They deserve it. It sickens me that one in three to one in four women will be raped in their lifetime, in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!! WHAT-THE-FUCK! We don't have the fucking balls to protect our women and children apparently. If I made the rules, rapists and child molestors would get their due process, their trial, and then be executed in the fucking court house parking lot. At the VERY MINIMUM this is how repeat offendors should be handled. And none of this faggot 15 years in jail and then lethal injection. I'm talking about escorting those fucks to a fucking public hanging or fireing squad immediately after the verdict is read. I've never been raped or molested either, and thankfully neither has any of my immediate family. My mother almost was. I've known a lot of women that were. And most of us all know a lot of women that have been raped but haven't told you. Why we tolerate that shit the way that we do, absolutely blows my fucking mind. You go to prison longer for marijuana or owning an illegal NFA item then you do RAPING A WOMAN OR CHILD. WHAT THE FUCK!  ...And good on those people in that car. Fuckin A! Would have been better if he had died from the wounds they delivered to him while in the process of "defending themselves".

My husband told me about her. I was shocked and so angry. What kind of people could listen to screams for help and not do anything? I would have called if I had been there.

This happens often and in my state a non sworn person may use any and all force to effect an citizens arrest for any felony in progress, Truth be told in CO private individuals have way more leeway in UOF than an officer..... Best one was the attempted robbery of the gas station.... Owner was 58 at the time WWII vet he kept a M1 Carbine resting up against the counter........ 23 yo Hispanic male thought he could rob the station at knifepoint..... In modern terms he got knocked the fuck out.... was transported to the local ER.... was transfered to a bigger hospitial 2 counties over... we picked him up on release 2 weeks later.... |
