For post 2000, I'm not exactly sure what I want to do. Arfcom has been such a big influence on me these past 3 years, forcing me to spend money on guns & ammo...

I guess I'll just post pics of a few of my favorite things...

That was a sampling of what arfcom has coerced me into buying, the addiction is much worse. Those are just the only ones I have pics of.

Thanks for all the good times ARFCOM!

Glad to hear.  I'm debating between just chucking out about $300 for a beater AK like the WASR (which will take all kinds of abuse - it's an AK after all) or springing for something like a Yugo or Arsenal.

ETA: I don't even want to begin to think that all those ammo cans are full.  I don't want to lose it while I'm here at work

WASRs are not quite as refined as a Yugo, and definitely not as "nice" as an Arsenal, but the price is what attracted me to the WASR. I paid $375 for that SAR-1 on top (plus another $50 for the side folder) and the WASR in total cost me about $350. I spent a little more and got the WASR Century had already installed a slant break and bayo lug on. They even put a G2 trigger group in, not one of those crappy no name triggers.

I didn't hand pick mine, I was "lucky" I guess. My WASR is really nice (the only thing is the recoil spring is a little weak, but still functions 100%. Nothing I can't easily replace it, but there isn't a dire need to.). Some say ordering a WASR is sort of like the lottery. If you do have a chance to hand pick, just check the front side and gas system for cant, check to see that the mag wobble is reasonable, and maybe check to see if it has a Tapco G2 trigger installed (about the only nice thing TAPCO makes...). Maybe take a look down the bore to see that everything is OK too.

People say that there are some bad WASRs, but all the ones I have ever shot worked 100%.

Yes, all the ammo cans are full. (I will concede that a portion of them are filled with shotgun ammo, which is rather bulky).

Yes, that is my zombie defense wall. If I need to I can retreat up the stairs and destroy them behind me, but only after I empty all the ammo cans.
