How many of you carry flashlights as well? If so could you please let me know what kind and even a picture would be GREAT. Im seriously considering it......

I carry a AA Maglight at work in a black cordura belt pouch. The pouch also holds a Buck 312 Ranger, a black Sharpie and a pen. It's an EMT pouch and blends in well with my work pants.

I carry a SureFire L2 LumaMax. i can't imagine not having it with me. Even inside on a bright day it comes in handy. And of course, you can't shoot what you can't see...

I carry either an HDS or a novatac 24/7 in my front pocket.  I am always amazed at how often it comes in handy, one of those things you don't realize until you try it.  I have a few friends who carry them as well, and they say the same thing.  I would post pics if I knew how.

Fenix L2T V.2.0 - Rebel LED, 2 AA. For someone that is carrying a flashlight everday, there is really no excuse for not carrying something with at least a CREE LED in it.

160 Lumens in the size of a cigar!

ETA: I carry this in my pocket and forget it's there. In fact it went through the wash without any effect!

Surefire G2 Nitrolon, but I've been thinking of one of the Fenix LED's as a replacement (more light for longer).

mnd: While the Rebel is indeed a Luxeon, made by Phillips Lumiled, it is considered to be a step above the CREE in lumen output.

+1

I have the 3 watt LED. Uses 2x AA batteries and is hella bright. I can't believe how nice this flashlight is for $30

Surefire E2D Defender. Bright enough to hurt if it is dark outside and you shine it in your eyes. And it has those neat cutouts for "collecting DNA of your attacker." (quotes are mine.)

Surefire 6P (usually 120 lumen) in pocket, dedicated pouch, or combo mag/flashlight pouch.

All you guys with LEDs are making me feel outdated, like I'm carrying around a single-AAA micro Maglight.

How do you get around the seemingly bluish tint and reduced range (esp in fog & smoke) of LEDs, or am I just looking at bad LED lights?

LED lights have come light years, you can get a non-crappy no blue tint light for not too much money.  Check out the fenix lights for some budget friendly super bright long lasting white output LED's.

I really like my E2D for pocket carry. I may look into some of the fenix led's though as I've heard good things about them.

I have one of these on my keychain, they are very nice and actually brighter than my Surefire 6p that I keep in the glove box.
