I'm lookiing for an optic for my Mossy what does ARFCOM think?

I'm pretty sure I want to use the rail that is already on the Mesa Tactical stock, but I am open to other ideas.

So here is the question if money was no concern what sort of optic would you get, and if $200 was your budget what would you get???

My budget is some where between that but I want to hear a wide variety of answers so I kept it broad.

Thanks

Put on a regular stock, and get a slug barrel with ghost ring sights.

Is this one specific to shottys or are they all the same?

EOTech or Aimpoint, with a good set of ghost ring irons for backup.    I would have stuck with a regular shotgun stock, in order to make the weapon look more "PC".  I would have wanted to keep the shotgun looking as close to a "hunting" firearm as possible, but all of this is a matter of personal preference.

Its ok not very comfortable I got it for $55 on e-Bay when I bought it as a combo with the SureFire so I cant complain.

So far a used Aimpoint is looking like the best option .

Hey, I know the optic thing is all the rage. But for a shotgun? No disrepect, but come on. Get yourself a BB gun. Take the sights off. Then pump and shoot till your arms are tired. Then do it again and again. Shoot every can, bottle, stick, rock you can find. Then after two weeks, try your shotty out. Optic sight will just get in the way. You'll know where your pointing. Even in the dark. Have you ever seen someone shoot clays with a optic? Go's together like whiskey and scuba diving.

Its a print that Goddard embelleshid sp? so it's middle of the road price wise. It is cool that he painted alot of the detail himself though.

For all the HATERS isn't AR15.com the anti fudd site? why are you bitching about my shoutgun having a pistol grip or optics?

You DO NOT need optics on your shotgun. The simple fact that you own that tacti-cool stock has pretty much guarantee'd that you will win every gun fight that you ever enter! I promise.....

How do you plan to manipulate the safety on that thing with a pistol grip on it?  It can't be done efficently.  I know, cause when I was wanting to tacticool my Mossy, I did the same thing.  Now I got a stock on it that ya can't work the safety without rotating your hand away from the pistol grip.  If you still have your stock, stock let me know and I'll buy it off you if the price is right.

You NEED to reread my second sentence. I was making fun of your GHEY shotgun stock. BTW this is AR15.com not Tacti-Coolshotgun.com, so you opened yourself up to getting flamed when you posted this in GD on a Friday night!

Have I read the thread? Yeah... and I owned page 2 of it! So?

On the CompStock site, what is the type of sight on the first shotgun pictured(where he runs up to the wall and shoots, wearing a black t-shirt).
