We've got a guy at work who is the epitome of what it means not to be a team player. Jump in and do something to help the company? Hah...you've got to be kidding. Last minute rush project that needs everyone involved to get it out? Guess who runs the other way...

So, I'm looking for a picture any of y'all might have ridiculing those who are simply out for themselves.

Any and all are greatly appreciated!!

I tend to favor towards just doing it all myself.

If you want something done right, do it yourself.

When a willing and capable team member is present, I am more than capable of working well as a team.

Threatening being fired tends to increase motivation. If you don't have the authority to do that why don't you sit him down and explain to him what everyone things of his lazy bullshit behavior.

You ever think he might just not like you?

Or the bottle of lotion and box of Kleenex on your desk scares him? Maby hes just not into gay sex?

It's not that he's lazy, it's that he just doesn't care.

I usually get angry and just do it myself.

Am I the perfect sucker or no?

I'd also like to point out that while there is no "I" in "team", there is an "M" and an "E".

There's no "you" in there either, so leave me the fuck alone.

I transferred to a new job in a new state, talk about no teamwork, or work at all just a bunch of "I'm not going to do that." it sucks, drags you down, I am looking for a new job.

He's probably not feeling challenged or motivated. Apply liberal amounts of fire to rear.

ETA: You could just stop paying him, let that kinda thing just sort itself out, ya know?

PC load letter? WTF does that mean!?

We got one of those. Hes been in the job for 5 years, dumb as a box of rocks.

We take daily bets on if he turns up for work, and a yearly one to see if he gets fired this year.

His latest BS thing to do is claim bankruptcy and he actually went to court today and got $200k wiped from his debt. His "Wife" claimed she was homeless and didn't have an income so she could get government funding to go to nursing school and now he calls her his children's mama.

Not only does this mofo come to work (when he does come to work) in the same clothes, but  he forgets to come in on time and smells like he lives in his truck.  We turn the fan on so the smell blows away from us.

His belief in the world is he is right, everybody else is wrong and he is the only good looking person and everybody else is ugly.  I keep asking my boss if I can put him out of his misery, he said sure, just not on work property

Challenged or motivated don't come into play at all. He's simply one of those who doesn't hesitate to say "It's not MY job" rather than help others get something done.

When shit like this come up I just file it away in my brain and wait to see who gets the 20% raise come annual review time.

If it's not me I update my resume and start looking without telling anybody.
