[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Question regarding EE forums

Why are some posts highlighted in yellow, as opposed to the standard gray background for the topic? They don't seem to have anything that sets them apart (locked, lots of responses, sold items, etc.)

Anyone?

The highlighted posts belong to dealers who are contracted to do business on the site. The highlight is meant to distinguish between business and private parties seeking to sell items.

The brighter yellow looking threads are "industry partners"

The darker yelllow looking threads are "dealers"

The "grey" looking threads are just the average member looking to sell something.

ETA: I don't know the difference between "dealers" and "industry partners"

...and the locked threads are usually a result of the (private seller) OP bumping the ad within the 72 hour waiting period. It happens quite a bit when they try to carry on a conversation that is better suited to IM or email.
