wife buys cookie dough to make cookies...between me, wife, and the 2 kids, we're lucky if it even makes it to the oven

I had $1 off the Nestle stuffm I got a pack of it at Walledmart, I was going to cook it but it was hot today.

I held off on cooking or eating it soo far, but if i was at home Id eat it now

It doesn't have the right ingredients -- the best chocolate cookies have both regular (white granulated) sugar and brown sugar. I know this sounds nerdy but it's true. Once you start making your homemade ones, you'll never go back to that weird storebought dough. Oh wait maybe this belongs in the Recipes community group. My bad.

You know what's really good?

Dip the raw cookie dough in Hershey's chocolate syrup. Roll it in powdered sugar, than apply a generous layer of cool whip. Sprinkle with a double handful of chocolate chips, and top with whipped cream and a cherry.

What I hate is when I make cookies from scratch because I want cookies, then I eat a bunch of the dough and satisfy my craving... then I still have to finish making cookies with the leftovers.
