Usually I am suspicious of videos claiming to be CAG, but that was the real deal.

Its real... There are varying stories as to what it is (video for congress, politos, VIPs etc -to- its a recruitment video) and how it came to the public (one was someone found it in a dumpster).

Its been around for over a year, used to be a instant lock on pretty much any board, its made the rounds. I've had it on my HD for over a year and it was on my old computer which blew up.

Look forward to it being removed.

What was the pole the one guy carried on a couple of the entries?  Is that what they stick up the bad guys ass when they are done with him?

Funny, everyone at the beginning of the video looked like a direct decendant of Chuck Norris.

Remember, when Chuck Norris falls into water, he doesn't get wet, water gets Chuck Norris!!!!

Very cool,

Thanks, If I can find a way to save it, I'm going to use the vid to show proper stance to new shooter.

How do you save it?

Lots of 1911s in there. And there I was thinking that only the USMC used 1911s.

Noted a lot of those guys have their verticle grips mounted pretty far up. Either way, that vid was bad ass! I'm quite certain that they could kill many assholes in short order. Glad they're on our side!

It's going to be a good day when the SEALs find out what they've been missing all these years

Curious, at 06:35 that appears to be a Pinzgauer Weapons Platform.

IS that a vehicle they routinely use ?

The NZ Army bought them for SAS use.

Lot of joint operations going on in IZ and AF.  Could easily be one of theirs or an SAS vehicle.

Nope!

That particular unit has been using high-quality customized 1911s from the getgo....

When it comes to speed and accuracy (which is kind of important in the line of work they are in) there is no other weapon on earth that lets you put a bullet where it is needed when it is needed like the 1911.

As to the video itself, that's sort of bleeding public for a unit that didn't even used to exist.... I dunno how it got on the net, but I guarantee somebody is pissed off about it.

That video shouldn't be on the net.

I doubt anyone at Bragg is curled up in a fetal position crying because it is out there, but it's still not something that should be out on the intarweb.

I'm just saying how can you complain about it being on the internet when you downloaded it FROM the internet and keep it on your hard drive?

It's just a tad hypocritical, I would think. You're endorsing it, however small, when you download it.

I've seen the video a couple of times, and I haven't seen anything that appears to violate OPSEC. There may be some PERSEC issues due to the number of guys with their faces shown, but if that was a concern for them, it doesn't seem that they'd allow people to film them training.

Guys will allow themselves to be taped if the tape is supposed to go to the right place....Sometimes they may not have a choice as in a commanding officer decides they are going to produce a dog and pony package to show some congress critters or something....

The whole internet is definitely not the audience they had in mind...

I don't doubt that, but it seems to be somewhat irresponsible considering how important PERSEC is for them.

If something like this creates a major problem for them, they need to reevaluate their policies on photography and videography of their training and their faces. It would seem to me that they have never been as cautious about this as they should be.

I highly recommend Eric Haney's book about Delta. It was one of the best books I've ever read and it's extra cool to see that video after reading the book. Eric describes about how much shooting they'd do and how his hand developed a callous from shooting his 1911 so much. I always knew Delta was bad ass, but the book really opened my eyes to the incredible abilities they are capable of.

Learn to read... I said "look forward to it being removed"... I didn't say "I'm looking forward..."

As I said, but you can't read, it used to be an instant lock and it usually got removed QUICK.

The pole probably was used for breaking windows? One of the things written in Eric Haney's book was that they would use PVC pipes to break window for entering. stick it in the window, whirl it around and you got an entry point. Or was that Beckwith's book?

In the beginning there is a pistol shooting on a moving target. And the shooter never misses. He must be one good shooter.

Around 6:00 or so, there is a Little Bird flying on top of the mock building. Notice that the helo was about one story lower when it came in and within yards of the building props itself up and lands on the roof. Those SOAR guys are amazing!

Probably a charge to breach a door. It is easier to break and rake with something like a hooligan. The hooli is more compact also.

True.

Also, if you guys saw it or not, but when they were making an entry those guys have amazing footworks!
