I'm trying to do some homework with vectors and my calculator is being a pain in the ass. If I enter 130cos(247) it gives me -130sin(23) instead of the actual answer. Obviously something is set incorrect, but I have no idea what it could be.

you have to use the function keys to get the answer into a number. At least that's how my TI is. Mine's at work and I can't remember how to get it there. Check the vector menus too.

Are you in radian or degree mode? I don't even know if that will help, but that was a problem I had in trig with mine.
