What day or days are recognized as the Sabbath ?  My wife has an employee that refuses to work on Saturdays because she is a Presbyterian and it's her Sabbath .
I looked on the Internet and it's a confusing issue .

I did read something about Orthodox Presbyterians and Reformed Presbyterians .
I wonder if there is a difference in the way they keep holy the Sabbath ?
Personally , I think she is just trying to get Saturdays off .

I am an elder in the Reformed Presbyterian Church.
The entire church body calling themselves "Presbyterian" comes from a tradition that completely disavows the OT Sabbath (Saturday) and entirely names Sunday as the NT Sabbath or Lord's Day.

The "keeping" of the day differs somewhat by denomination, but the day itself most assuredly does not.

She is either lying, confused, or so liberal (theologically) that she should not call herself Presbyterian.

Simple answer; ask for her pastor's phone number.  Ask him.
