Suggestions? I have thre outsude dogs, four acres of fenced in woods, and cannot keep the fleas under control. I've repeatedly used frontline combined with flea collars and flea powder. Have also repeately sprayed bedding areas and where they hang out with sevin and other insect killers. Have tried yeast in their food and apple cider vinegar as a topical spray. Also bathe them weekly with a flea killer, And they stll have damn fleas. Again, suggestions?

Frontline is supposed to do a good job if you rub some between the shoulderblades.

If you lived in a cold place you wouldnt have to worry much.

I cant think of the name of the stuff right now but it is some kind of tiny schreaded bones or what not, works on all kinds of bugs and completley safe as in no chemicals. It pokes holes in the bugs and dessicates them, looks like talcum powder. I will try and find the name of it for ya...

Spread borax laundry soap around places they bed down/live.

You need Frontline Plus or some other product with (S)-methoprene in it. I have used Biospot with good results. I also would not bathe the dogs after you apply the products.

You have to stay on top of this or it can get out of hand fast.

1. Spray the yard about every 3-4 days with a strong pesticide/insecticide like Diazinon or Malathion. Use a sprayer that attaches to the end of the garden hose. Eggs hatch about every 5-7 days so you have to do this repeatedly. Keep the grass cut very short.

2. Dust your dogs daily with Sevin Dust. I don't think you can get 10% Sevin Dust anymore just 5% but it is a cheap flea powder. Especially powder their underside under the legs.

3. Might want to buy some Adams Flea Mist Spray at first to spray the dogs. Very strong and effective but expensive.
