Any Hank III fans here? I can't stand all his dope smoking and drug lyrics and really don't know why I like him, but I damn sure do! I like everything from him with the Damn Band, but only a handful of songs with Assjack. He can sound just like Hank Sr. when he wants to and it's sure sounds good with my Jack and coke right about now! Anybody know what his relationship is like with Hank Jr?   edit: To correct the band name to Assjack from Asshat!  |

Hank rules. He played at the House of Blues here in San Diego a month or so ago. Best damn show I've seen in a while. After the show he said, "Thanks for coming out. I'll be right down here. If you got something to say, come up and say it." And then proceeded to jump off the stage and take pics and sign autographs. I waited about 20 minutes or do to get my Hank III hat signed by Hank III. And he was still doing it after I left. I've got all 3 albums and his stuff is in heavy rotation in my car. |
Can't fault the guy for getting out there and mingling with his fans.

You guys are lucky, I live in Boise and nobody worth a shit comes here. Well actually I take that back, we do have REO Speedwagon playing at the County Fair this year. That concert's free with admission!
