What the Fuck are you talking about? I did not say anything about pollution or second hand smoke. I said smoking is gross. I will now say it is.... Stupid Slow suicide Expensive Very harmful to ones health A very bad habit Stinks Ugly and unattractive |
Nice mouse pad. |
-----------> The latrine is over there. Just wanted you to know, when you next had the urge to take a dump in someone's thread. ![]() Baking skills need improvement, but photo skills ![]() ranger

Oh Mr. Ranger sir, you are so wise and good. I did not intend to shit in his thread. It is a long term practice here on ARFCOM to point out someones dirty stove or floor. Seeing how you have been here less than a year and only have 602 posts, I understand why you may not know this. I added the smoking comment on a whim because I do think it is stupid and a nasty habit. He may not even smoke, they may belong to someone else. The cookies actually look pretty tasty although I would not have used margarine. Were the others who chastised him for using margarine instead of butter also crapping in his thread? |
Nice mouse pad Thanks for the credit card number!!!! |
... on a serious note.. is anyone gonna tell me what the difference is between Margerine and Butter in the mix???

+1 put it in a bowl and pour milk over it, then you have a reason for the spoon. |

+1 on using only real butter....no transfatty acids..so it's better for you...tastes better too Takes just as much time to buy the ingredients and make it yourself without the mix too. Churn butter, brown and white sugar together in a mixer BEFORE you add the dry ingredients. Do not use cooking spray...use a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. This way the bottoms of the cookies will cook evenly and not burn. The cookies will not stick to the pan either when you use parchment paper (available in any decent supermarket). Allow cookies to cool completly before eating...taste better that way IMHO. |
Yes..margarine changes flavor during the cooking process...butter doesn't In terms of flavor...butter is much better to cook with than margarine. |
Yep. I worked in a bakery. We charged 80 cents a piece for butter croissants. The margarine ones we sold 12 for $4. The taste difference was very noticeable. |
