Just checked the 10 day forecast. Lowest temp is 98 with next Saturday being 103 the hottest. No rain any of the days.

Some places flooded in the country and we're still in a drought.

AC hasn't cycled since noon, guess it won't till evening.

This has been a damn hot summer all over. I'm suprised we haven't seen the reports on brownouts and system failures like in past years.

My I/O thermometer says 104 right now (Tupelo area).  Time/temp says 102.  Either way, its freakin' hot.  I mowed my yard early and got it over with.

In before the "It's hotter in Iraq" crowd.  Its the humidity here that gets you..

We're hitting the hottest days now down here, low 90s, mid 90s on the way.  But very high humidity  Summer shows are pretty common, but we're still in a drought.  Rainfall is -6" so far this year.

93 here today.

It actually feels a little better than a few days ago, when it was 86, because the humidity dropped a little.

I haven't seen highs under a hundred in two months.  It's between 115 and 120 every day officially, and a lot hotter than that in a windowless aluminum tube surrounded by concrete.

I hate to break this to you, but this has been the coolest summer I remember.  We have only had a couple of days up around 95, and a lot of days where it didn't hit 90.  Lots of rain too.  We are like 12 inches over the average.

If this is global warming, bring it on.
