What brand of goggles do you think are the best? I would prefer non-shaded, but tinted color ok. Pool work only.

Thanks.

Get some $5 Swedish goggles.

Unless you're an accomplished competitive swimmer, the Speedos sold at Academy and elsewhere are fine. A lot of HS and college swim team types use those. I use the blue shaded Speedo Sprint.

I like lamb skin jimmies to catch my little swimmers

I seen some funky shapes on line and thought I would ask. The regular speedo ones carried me through NACCS...I'll head up to dicks and pick a pair or two up.

thanks.

I don't even know the brand name of the ones I used daily for 6 months.  They had blue lenses.  I think they were speedos.  They were not expensive at all and they held up perfectly.  You're wise to take up swimming.

Just trying to compliment my body building goals a bit and stay in better shape (check the fitness forum). I used to swim all the time. I am tired of the running and some of the other cardio I do. So...hitting the water again. We have a HUGE lap pool at the fitness mega center I work out at, different lanes for different talents...

I am so disappointed I was hoping this would be about swimmer chicks.

Second on the TYR I like the double straps

TYR is good stuff...go to the local sporting goods store and put a couple on your face...

The goggles themselves don't really matter...it's more about the fit on your individual face...they're all a little different...and some are just downright uncomfortable...

+1 TYR is what I used when on water polo and swim team.

ETA: I personally hate foam surround goggles, I always had much better luck with sealing and comfort with rubber surrounds.
