Good beer or monkey piss??? I've been on a Coors Light kick recently...loving the new cold indicator labels ![]() I don't know when it's cold enough to drink...the mountains must be blue!!! |

I voted good beer, but that is in comparison to say Schmidt. It's not bad, but there really is no flavor. Up north here we have Mich Golden Light, which seems to be the brew of choice. Even after a while they seem to lack flavor. Perhaps MGD if your looking for flavor..? Lots of foofoo stuff out there to get the flavor wagon rolling, but I'll stick with blue collar beer. |
). On our way back home I told him to stop at a convinience stor so that I could buy a six-pack of Coors Light Tall Boys. He's like: "I thought you hated Coors light?" I told him: "I don't HATE any beer, but for some reason I'm craving a Silver Bullet!"I think it's because we spent the whole day out in the hot, humid Houston sun, drinking water and eating snow-cones. Well, I was through with drinking water, and thought a Bud-light wouldn't REALLY quench my thirst, but the Silver Bullet has that cold light refreshing taste that I was craving. It's actually kind of weird because I can't even remember the last time I drank one. I did remeber that it was much lighter than a Bud Light, and I think that that's what made me crave one I think that I'll keep a six in the fridge for whenever I'm really thirsty after some yard-work. I normally won't drink a beer right after the lawn being cut,but with this new-found discovery,I think I'll be doing the lawn in more regular intervals!

Sometimes I've only got $10 bucks bugeted to last me for a weeks worth of beer. That's when I buy extra light lagers like Coors and Bud. Otherwise I'll drive my growlers down the street to Stone Brewing and get them filled for $7 each. (I know, I live a locality blessed life.) I don't prefer them, but I don't raise an obnoxious elitist stink over cheap beers like wine snobs and cigar snobs do about somebody drinking Two Buck Chuck or smoking a Black & Mild. |
Even as a guy who enjoys cheap beer, that's hillarious. BTW, you can make cheap vodka a heck of a lot better by running it through a Brita too. You won't make Popov taste like Belvedere or Grey Goose, but it's a good bit better. |
I try not to but I don't have friends with a lot of class. You can't tell me you have NEVER been to a reception that had Coors Light on tap!?! |
