Today is July 21, 2007 - according to the listing in the back of the American Rifleman, there is supposed to be a Crossroads show in Phoenix at the Ice House. According to flyers I picked up at the March Tucson show, from Arizona Arms AND Firing Pin enterprises (both show promoters), they confirm that the show is today. Also a few hotel guides and other websites list it. However everything I see posted on other gunshow web calendars and forums indicate that this show was actually on July 7th - 2 weeks ago!!!

Last weekend, based on the same sources, I went to the show scheduled at the Roadway Inn, Tucson - except there was no show there last week. It apparently was in Wickenburg.

In both cases I can find several web sites that list both dates for each of the above shows.  Even some vendor calendars list the wrong dates they will be at a show. Who are you to believe? The crossroads website is down this am.

This type of schedule screw-up happened last year too.  Either the show promoters are changing their dates and not getting the updates posted to all the calendar sites or some anti-gun group is getting false data published to hamper attendance.
Has anyone else seen this type of thing happening in their area?  Its tough for me because I live way out in the country and it takes several hours driving to reach even the nearest of these two locations.

thanks

Usually, I don't bring dates to gunshows.  Being married and all...

I did have someone from the board ask if me if I wanted to meet up at the local gunshow today, but ya know....  It's not queer if he buys you a beer.
