| this is a murry/ranch king 20 horse/46 cut. hydro drive. problem is: it will be running just fine, mowing great, then all of the sudden it will basically stop moving forward. blades are still turning and no problems with the engine. i found that if i disengage the blades and throttle down, it will move fairly well and i can increase the throttle and move along like it should. i then engaged the blade again and throttle back up and it just sits there. whats the deal? drive belt worn? or could it be in the pulleys? |
I hope you were packing... Taffy It's a jungle out there |
That's the strange part. If the motor is fine then the extra load of the blades shouldn't mess with the drive system at all. Do you have any hills around? Leave the deck disengaged and go uphill and see what happens? And remember, troubleshooting can be fun! ETA: Congrats on post 223!!! |
yeah no shit, i didnt even see it coming |
